Guangdong New Whampoa Joint Innovation Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine is jointly established by Guangzhou High tech Zone, more than 20 domestic research institutions in the field of traditional Chinese medicine and information, including the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Chinese Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, and universities. Guangdong New Whampoa Joint Innovation Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine (hereinafter referred to as the Joint Innovation Institute). On March 19, 2021, the Guangdong New Huangpu Traditional Chinese Medicine Joint Innovation Research Institute (referred to as "Huangpu Joint Innovation Institute") was unveiled and established in Huangpu District and Guangzhou High tech Zone, and held its first council meeting. As a new platform for interdisciplinary innovation in traditional Chinese medicine technology, the establishment of Huangpu United Innovation Institute will promote the cross-border integration of multidisciplinary resources in the field of traditional Chinese medicine, as well as the establishment of a scientific and technological innovation system and mechanism.
