    Recently, North China Electric Power University has continuously purchased Lab Companion high and low temperature humid and hot environment test chambers, and the two parties have become partners of the laboratory.

    North China Electric Power University is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education and a key construction university of the "211 Project" and "985 Project Advantageous Discipline Innovation Platform". In 2017, the school entered the ranks of national "Double First Class" universities, focusing on the construction of the Energy and Electric Power Science and Engineering discipline group, and fully embarking on a new journey to build world-class disciplines and high-level research-oriented universities. 

    The school was founded in Beijing in 1958, formerly known as Beijing Electric Power Institute. The school has long been under the management of the national power department. In 2003, the school was transferred to the management of the Ministry of Education and is now jointly established by the Council and the Ministry of Education, consisting of 12 large-scale power groups including State Grid Corporation of China, China Southern Power Grid Corporation, China Huaneng Group Co., Ltd., China Datang Corporation, China Huadian Corporation, China Energy Investment Group Co., Ltd., China Three Gorges Corporation, China General Nuclear Power Corporation, China Electric Power Construction Group Co., Ltd., China Energy Construction Group Co., Ltd., Guangdong Energy Group Co., Ltd., and the China Electricity Council. The school headquarters is located in Beijing, with a separate campus in Baoding, and the two places implement integrated management. The school currently has over 3000 faculty members, including more than 24000 full-time undergraduate students and over 12000 graduate students. The school covers an area of over 1600 acres and has a building area of over 1 million square meters.

    For over 60 years, the school has fully implemented the Party's education policy, carried out the fundamental task of cultivating virtue and talent, adhered to the Huadian spirit of "self-improvement, unity and progress, love for the school and dedication, and pursuit of excellence", and cultivated a large number of energy and power talents with both morality and ability. The school has always been active in the forefront of scientific and technological innovation, focusing on serving national strategies and industry needs. It has overcome multiple technical difficulties in the development of China's power industry and played an indispensable role in promoting the progress of power technology. After entering the new century, the school has implemented the policy of "establishing disciplines, strengthening talents, promoting scientific research, and developing with characteristics", seized opportunities, and achieved rapid and leapfrog development.
